America’s Next Pork Crock-Stars Daily Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) starts on Twitter on October 1, 2011 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”), and on Facebook on October 3, 2011 at 9:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on both Twitter and Facebook on October 31, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. ET (“Giveaway Period”). The Giveaway will be divided into thirty-one (31) daily entry periods (each, a “Daily Entry Period”). Each Daily Entry Period will begin at 12:00 a.m. ET and end at 11:59 p.m. ET the current day, except on October 1, 2011 which will begin at 12:01 a.m. ET on Twitter, and on October 3, 2011 while will begin at 9:01 a.m. ET on Facebook.

ELIGIBILITY: Giveaway is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years of age. Employees of National Pork Board (“Sponsor”), Twitter, Facebook, Weber Shandwick, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion and advertising agencies, and members of their immediate family (spouse and parent, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household, whether or not related, of such employees, are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law. Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Twitter or Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor and not to Twitter or Facebook. The information you provide will only be used for Giveaway administration.

HOW TO ENTER: During the Giveaway Period, there are two (2) ways to enter: 1) Via Twitter: Visit www.twitter.com/AllAboutPork, log-in to your Twitter account, follow @AllABoutPork (if you are not already following), and tweet @AllAboutPork your answer to the Giveaway question provided on the page with the hashtag #porkcrockstar to receive one (1) entry. You must be a registered member of Twitter. Registration is free.  If you choose to tweet using your mobile phone, standard text messaging fees for text messages sent may apply. See your wireless provider for pricing plan details. 2) Via Facebook: Visit www.Facebook.com/PorkBeInspired and follow the directions provided to complete the entry form and answer the Giveaway question provided on the page to receive one (1) entry.  Entries must be received by the stated deadline to be considered for the applicable Daily Entry Period. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the entry process are void. Limit one (1) entry per person (per household) per day for the Sweepstakes Period using only one email address. Entries received from any person, household, or email address in excess of the stated limitation will be void. All Entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

RANDOM DRAWINGS: One (1) potential Daily Prize winner will be selected for each Daily Entry Period in a random drawing held within approximately seventy two (72) hours following the end of the applicable Daily Entry Period from all eligible entries received for that drawing. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing. Non-winning entries from one daily drawing will carry over into subsequent daily drawings. Limit one (1) Daily Prize per person and per household.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Giveaway. Potential winners will be notified via Twitter direct message if they entered using Twitter or via email if they entered via Facebook and will have forty-eight (48) hours from time of notification to provide their shipping and contact information. If prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, Sponsor is unable to contact a potential winner or a potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner may be selected for the Daily Entry Period drawing at issue.

PRIZES (31) (One (1) per Daily Entry Period): One (1) Slow Cooker and one (1) $25 gift card to retailer located near winner to purchase pork. Shipping charges will be paid by Sponsor. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $75 each. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, if any, as well as any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Total ARV of all prizes: $2,325.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:  By participating, each entrant agrees: (a) to abide by these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor and judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects relating to this Giveaway; (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, Twitter, Facebook, Weber Shandwick, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies, and the respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and representatives of the forgoing (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation in the Giveaway or any Giveaway-related activity or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any awarded prize; and (c) to the use of his/her name, voice, performance, tweet, entry, and/or likeness for programming, advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Sponsor and its designees, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from entrant or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use. By participating, entrant also agrees not to release any publicity or other materials on their own or through someone else regarding their participation in the Giveaway without the prior consent of the Sponsor, which it may withhold in its sole discretion.

MISCELLANEOUS: Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered, or garbled entries or tweets, or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Giveaway, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Giveaway, the processing of entries or tweets, the announcement of the prizes, or in any Giveaway-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Giveaway. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Giveaway or downloading materials from or use of the website. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Giveaway or website, who act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated Entries will be void. Should any portion of the Giveaway be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised for any reason, including virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of Entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Giveaway (or portion thereof) and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winner(s) for the Daily Entry Period(s) at issue from all eligible, non-suspect Entries received for the applicable Daily Entry Period(s) prior to action taken using the judging procedure outlined above. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

REQUEST FOR WINNERS’ NAMES/RULES REQUEST: For the names of the winners (available after November 7, 2011) send a self-addressed, stamped, envelope to: America’s Next Pork Crock-Stars Giveaway, Weber Shandwick, 676 N.
