Branding Guidelines and FPO Logos

A brand is more than a product, logo or an ad campaign. A brand is a promise. It's a promise we make to our customers every day. Here are a few guidelines to follow to ensure our brand is utilized correctly.

When referring to this campaign in text, always use Pork® Be inspired® with the appropriate registered marks on first reference. For subsequent references, the brand can be referred to as Pork Be inspired.

Preferred Configuration

For multicolor printing on a light background, please use this stacked logo (at left) with the tagline in black and the pork mark in PMS 293 Blue (or CMYK 100.57.0.2). The pork mark and tagline should always appear together, and always in the original logo configuration with no changes in the size relationship between both elements. Also please note the Registered mark (Circle R) and Service Mark (SM) in their respective places next to the pork logo and tagline.

Other Options

One-Color Printing: For printing in one color, print the logo and tagline in black.

For use on images or dark backgrounds: The pork mark should appear in PMS 293 (Blue). Depending on tonal values, the tagline can be black or white to maximize contrast and legibility.

Sizing and Spacing

 The pork mark should never be smaller than 1/2 inch wide. For spacing: Use the x-height (or the height of the "o" in the pork mark) as a guide for spacing around the logo. Do not put other text or pictures closer to the logo/tagline than this distance. This helps the logo stand out and be noticed.

For Placement Only Logo Downloads

Please complete a licensing agreement, and download a "for placement only" or "FPO" logo here. Once the National Pork Board approves your usage of the logo, you will be sent a high-resolution non-watermarked version of the logo to fit your needs (EPS, JPG or GIF).
