Ingredients

3 lbs. pork shoulder 
4 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, finely chopped 
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa 
1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes 
1 tablespoon cumin 
1/2 teaspoon salt salt and pepper

 
Directions
Trim fat from pork shoulder if needed, season with salt and pepper. Add garlic, chipotle peppers, cocoa, tomatoes cumin and salt to crock pot, stir to incorporate ingredients Add pork shoulder. Cook for 8 hours / low temp or 5 hours high setting, until pork can easily be separated with a spoon. 
Serve on top of polenta, as taco, burrito or tamale filling. Enjoy!
