Orangelicious Slow Cooked Pork Chops

Ingredients

1 T. olive oil 
2 boneless pork chops 
1/2 c. fresh orange juice 
1 1/2 c. chicken broth 
2 T. honey 
1 t. salt
1/2 t. garlic salt 
1 t. brown sugar 
1 t. orange zest 
2 T. cornstarch 
1/2 c. cold water

 
Directions
Combine all ingredients except pork chops, cornstarch and water into a crock pot and mix well. 
Heat oil over medium-high in a skillet and cook chops until golden crisp about 2 to 3 minutes per side. Transfer chops into crock pot and baste with sauce. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours until meat is tender. 
Remove chops and keep warm. Pour remaining liquid into medium sauce pan and bring to a boil. Combine cornstarch and water; mix well and add to sauce. Reduce heat to low and simmer until slightly thickened about 3 to 5 minutes. Serve sauce over chops.
