Saucy and Savory Slow-Poke Pork

Ingredients

2 pounds boneless lean country-style spare ribs 
2 (15-oz.) cans pork and beans in tomato sauce, such as Van Camps brand 
2/3 cup molasses 
1 cup ketchup 
1 teaspoon brown mustard 
3 tablespoons brown sugar 
1/2 cup sweet cherry peppers, such as Mezetta brand 
1-1/2 cups ginger ale

 
Directions
1. Cut boneless ribs into two-inch- long pieces. Place in crock pot. 
2. Combine remain-ing ingredients in blender. Process until smooth. 
3. Pour mixture over pork and stir with wooden spoon to mix pork pieces and sauce. 4. Cook in crockpot on low heat until meat is tender (usually 5 to 6 hours) or on high heat for one hour and low for the following three to four. 
Serves 4 to 6. 
1 teaspoon brown mustard 1 cup ginger ale
